On Dec. 13, American Airlines named Kurt Stache as its Vice President and General Sales Manager. Stache will be responsible for all of American's sales activities worldwide with sales organizations throughout American's network reporting to him.
- United Airlines Names Keith Halbert Chief Information Officer[Dec. 20, 2007]
On Dec. 20, 2007, UAL Corporation, the holding company whose primary subsidiary is United Airlines, announced that Keith Halbert has been named senior vice president and chief information officer. Halbert joins United from Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he was vice president and CIO. In his new role, Halbert will oversee all aspects of United's information technology functions, including corporate IT strategy, applications development, technical operations, information security and infrastructure planning.
