Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced on Sep. 25, 2007, that it will offer daily, non-stop service between Amman, Jordan, and Sharjah, UAE, beginning Oct. 1, 2007. Air Arabia currently operates four flights per week between the two Middle Eastern cities.

JAL will start operating direct charter flights from Japan to Siem Reap in Cambodia.
