Membership worldwide of Japan Airlines' frequent flyer program (FFP), the JAL Mileage Bank (JMB), has reached the 20 million mark. In celebration of reaching this milestone and as a token of the airline's gratitude towards all JMB members, JAL has launched worldwide the 'JMB Arigatou 20 Million Members Campaign'.

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes launched flights to Cruzeiro do Sul, in northwest Acre. With the addition of this new destination, GOL's daily flights from Fortaleza will reach the furthest regions of Brazil through connecting flights in Belem, Manaus, Porto Velho and Rio Branco.

Tourism Minister for Australia's Northern Territory says Virgin Blue executives have agreed to visit Alice Springs with an eye to resuming flights to the red centre.
- Passenger Increase for Air Berlin in April[May 08, 2007]
In April 2007, the airline company Air Berlin transported 126,452 more passengers on domestic and international flights than in the same month of the previous year. The number of passengers welcomed on board in April 2007 amounted to 1,684,733 (April 2006: 1,558,281), an increase of 8.1 per cent. For the first four months of 2007, the accumulated number of passengers flying Air Berlin rose by 10.6 per cent, from 5,288,759 to 5,850,420.
- IATA: Passenger Demand Strong, Cargo Remains Sluggish[May 30, 2007]
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released traffic results for the first four months of the year showing year-on-year international passenger demand growth of 6.7%, freight demand growth significantly slower at 2.6%, with average load factors for the period at 75.4%.
