The world's highest airport, which serves Lhasa, has for the first time handled more than one million passengers in a year, Xinhua said on December 6.

On December 5, Embraer announces that Sirte Oil Company has placed an order for one EMBRAER 170 jet. With this contract, Embraer gains its first customer in Libya, with delivery scheduled for March 2007. This firm order was already accounted for in Embraer's orderbook as "undisclosed", therefore the current order backlogis not affected by this announcement.
