- SWISS Posts High Load Factors for First Half Year[Jul. 11, 2007]
SWISS achieved a systemwide seat load factor of 78.8% for the first six months of 2007, a 1.1-percentage-point improvement on the prior-year period. Seat load factor on intercontinental services stood at 83.2% (prior-year period: 82.3%), while seat load factor on SWISS's European network amounted to 69.5%, a rise of 1.4 percentage points. SWISS carried some 5.7 million passengers in the first six months of 2007, compared to 5.0 million for the same period a year ago.
