Air Canada reported a record load factor for the mainline of 83.2 per cent in April 2007, the highest ever for the month.

On May 9, Air Nelson reassured customers that it is putting contingency plans in place to minimise the impact of a proposed strike by members of the EPMU.
- Royal Jordanian's 2006 Profit Falls Owing to Regional Tension, Rising Fuel Cost[May 15, 2007]
On May 14, Royal Jordanian said that it posted a 2006 net profit before deducting "taxes and staff incentives" of JOD7.4 million (US$10.4 million), its third consecutive profitable year but down 64.8% from the record JOD21 million earned in 2005 before distributing a profit share to staff.
- AerCap Orders Ten Additional A330-200s[May 14, 2007]
AerCap has signed a firm contract with Airbus for the purchase of an additional ten A330-200 passenger aircraft, following their order for 20 A330-200s in December 2006. With its proven benefits in terms of economics and a wide customer base, the A330-200 will assist AerCap in the growth of their portfolio. - Ryanair to Double Passengers to 100 Million in 5 Years[May 10, 2007]
Irish low-cost airline Ryanair expects to double its number of passengers to 100 million in five years' time, its chief executive told an industry conference on May 10.
- JAL Revises International Fare Fuel Surcharge[May 15, 2007]
On May 15, 2007, the JAL Group requested approval from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT), to revise the fuel surcharge placed on nearly all international passenger tickets issued on or after July 1, 2007.
- JetX Takes Delivery of Its First New Boeing 737-800 in Seattle[May 14, 2007]
On May 11, JetX took delivery of its first new Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 from Boeing Field in Seattle. JetX is leasing the airplane from International Lease Finance Corp. (ILFC).
- Aeroflot Confirms 2006 Profit, Announces St. Petersburg Expansion[May 11, 2007]
Aeroflot confirmed that it achieved a RUB7.98 billion (US$309.4 million) profit in 2006, a figure nearly identical to a third revision reported in April and representing a 32.3% increase from 2005 earnings of RUB6.03 billion. "Reliability of annual financial statements is confirmed by the conclusions of the auditing commission and corporate auditor," SU said. Revenue rose 13.5% to RUB71.35 billion on an 8.7% gain in passenger numbers to 7.3 million. Pre-tax profit climbed 36.7% to RUB11.43 billion.
- Iberia Group Posts EUR12.2 Million First Quarter Profit[May 14, 2007]
Iberia Group posted a first-quarter net profit of EUR12.2 million (US$16.5 million), reversed from a EUR57.2 million loss in the year-ago period, owing to continued network restructuring and cost-cutting initiatives.
