- Boeing, Travel Service Agree to 787 Dreamliner Order[Mar. 28, 2007]
On March 28, the Boeing Company announced that Travel Service, a Prague-based charter carrier, ordered one Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, and holds purchase rights for one more. The airline is increasing its efficiency in the long-haul charter market by offering direct flights to holiday destinations. The order is valued at US$153 million at list prices.

Boeing and British Airways have finalized an order for four Boeing 777-200ER jetliners valued at more than US$800 million at list prices. British Airways also secured options for four additional 777-200ERs. British Airways said it is using the 777s to expand its long-haul fleet.

On March 29, Qantas Airways said it would acquire nine additional Airbus A320 aircraft for use by Jetstar.
- Islas Airways Orders 6 ATR 72-500s[Mar. 27, 2007]
On March 27, ATR and Canary Islands-based Islas Airways announced the signature of a contract for 6 new ATR 72-500s for a total value of around US$110 million. For the first time the airline is adding new "-500 series" ATR aircraft to its fleet, currently composed of 1 ATR 42-300 and 4 ATR 72-200s. The deal has been inked in the Canary Islands by Filippo Bagnato, ATR CEO, and Miguel Concepcion Caceres, Islas Airways CEO.
- Aeroflot Commits to Airbus A350XWB[Mar. 22, 2007]
On March 22, the Russian flag carrier Aeroflot signed the Memorandum of Understanding for 22 Airbus A350XWB aircraft. Aeroflot's decision brings the total number of orders and commitments for the Airbus A350XWB to 248. Aeroflot will also further increase its Airbus fleet with ten new A330-200s, which will be acquired on operating lease.

The Austrian carrier NIKI has received its first Airbus A319 at the occasion of a delivery ceremony in Hamburg. The A319 selected by NIKI is the first A320 Family aircraft worldwide delivered with the new state of the art cabin interior, making the aircraft quieter, lighter, brighter and more spacious.
