- Largest European Route Development Event Ever to Open in Estonia[May 16, 2012]
Routes Europe, now in its 7th year, will see a record number of attendees when the 2012 event opens in Tallinn in four days time. The event will be hosted by Tallinn Airport at the Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia in Estonia's historic capital.
- Al Bateen Airport Records 26% Increase in Visiting Aircraft Movements for Jan.-Apr.[May 14, 2012]
Al Bateen Executive Airport, the Gulf Region's first and only dedicated private aviation airport operated and managed by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), announced today a 26% increase in visiting business aviation traffic in the period between January and April 2012 versus the same period last year and a 6% increase in total commercial aircraft movements over the same period. The report also indicated that in April alone the airport registered an increase of 38% in visiting aircraft compared with the same month in 2011, while the total commercial traffic increased by 5% during the same period.

Routes Africa, now in its 7th year, is the annual gathering of air service decision makers for the African region and the 2012 event will take place on July 8-10 hosted by the Seychelles Tourism Board in partnership with the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority supported by the Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA), AFRAA (African Airlines Association) and ACI Africa. The event will take place in the Seychelles capital Victoria and is expected to attract up to 150 delegates.
