India: Airport workers resume work
NDTV, India | Feb. 05, 2006
Airports across the country are getting back to normal as thousands of AAI (Airports Authority of India) employees return to work.
The workers ended their four-day strike on Saturday after a written assurance from Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel that all grievances of AAI and their employees would be looked into.
For the passengers also, the development came as a relief after days of dealing with piled up garbage, overflowing washrooms and poor baggage handling.
