UAL Applies for Washington-Beijing Service

UAL, parent of United Airlines, on Tuesday said it has applied for the right to add daily nonstop service between Washington, D.C., and Beijing.
If UAL gets government approval, the carrier will launch the service in March.
Shares of UAL (Charts) were up 2.1 percent on the New York Stock Exchange Tuesday.
