Air China to Extend Services to Nepal

Air China is all set to extend its services to Nepal from different Chinese cities beginning 2007.
According to Qiao Shuwen, General Manager of Kathmandu office of Air China, the airline will operate one flight per day from Lhasa to Kathmandu during the high season in July-October from next year.
It will also give continuity to four flights a week in March-June, which it has been operating at present in other seasons as well.
On November 29, Qiao Shuwen told Xinhua that by taking Air China connecting flights, passengers can fly from Kathmandu to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao and other major cities of China on the same day.
Air China had been operating flights on Lhasa-Kathmandu route during the high tourism season only.
