Dragonair | Jan. 31, 2007
On January 31, Dragonair took delivery of the second of five 747-400 Boeing Converted Freighters, taking the number of all-cargo aircraft it operates to eight. The aircraft is due to enter service next month.
"The arrival of the second freighter demonstrates our commitment to expanding our freighter fleet and allows us to continue to meet growing demand," said CEO Kenny Tang.
"Three more 747-400 Boeing Converted Freighters are scheduled to be added to our fleet before the end of 2008," Mr. Tang said.
The current delivery schedule for the three other converted freighters is: two more later this year; and one next year.
Dragonair's first converted freighter was delivered in October and entered service in November.
