Titan Airways Introduces Brand New King Air 350 into UK
Titan Airways | Feb. 01, 2007
Titan Airways, the London Stansted-based VIP charter specialist, adds a brand new Raytheon Beech King Air 350 to its fleet in February. The new aircraft will have 8/9 seats and ample baggage space.
It replaces Titan's smaller King Air B200 and will be promoted by the airline's charter team for short haul ad hoc executive charter and corporate entertaining. Being extremely economical to operate, the US-built business turboprop can also play a useful role in crew repositioning, high priority freight movements and urgent AOG requirements.
Titan Airways plans to make use of the aircraft to support its own operation including crew swaps often needed on its larger aircraft charter operations. In addition to the King Air 350 the airline also operates a variety of jet aircraft including BAe146, Boeing 737 and Boeing 757 aircraft.
The King Air 350 registered G-POWB, offers enhanced performance with a range of 1,400 nm and a cruising speed of 350 mph. Titan can dispatch the aircraft within 60 minutes from confirmation of booking, as with all other aircraft within the fleet.
The King Air 350 is upholstered in rich fabrics and comfortable beige leather seats that recline, swivel and have a lumbar support as well as integrated headrests. Armrests can be raised and lowered and executive tables are provided in the double club seating areas on both left and right sides of the cabin. Polarized windows and a very quiet spacious interior with "quiet cabin" noise control will make this aircraft a popular choice for charter.
"It has the scope and performance to reach any European airport from a wide selection of departure points," says Alastair Kiernan, Commercial Director. He confirmed that Titan would be looking in at Europe's premier business aviation show, EBACE in May in order to promote its capabilities.
