Garuda Indonesia expands China market: Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia's national airline, now has five weekly flights on the Jakarta-Beijing route, daily Jakarta-Guangzhou flights and four weekly Jakarta-Shanghai flights. New flights added: China United Airlines opens a new round-trip route between Beijing and Nantong, running on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Passengers buying tickets 7 to 28 days in advance can enjoy a maximum 30-percent additional discount. Website: www.cu-air.com.
Zhangjiajie and Hefei: China Southern Airlines will launch a route between Zhangjiajie and Hefei on Aug. 2. CZ6158 will fly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Specials for lovers: On Chinese Valentine's Day on Aug. 6, Tianjin Airlines will give discounts on round-trip tickets for a five-day trip in Hong Kong. Passengers can take part in the group purchase promotional price of 1,600 yuan or 2,150 yuan (US$248-333) with taxes, fees and surcharge included.
