Continental Airlines Cargo's Shipment Tracking Goes Live
Air Cargo News | Feb. 16, 2007
Continental Airlines Cargo has announced that its cargo availability and shipment tracking services are now live through Cargo Portal Services (CPS), operated by Unisys.
The system offers Continental's cargo customers a free web-based facility to manage bookings and track shipments through a neutral portal.
"CPS fits the bill because of its rapid adoption by forwarders, multi-carrier model and capability to handle all types of cargo products," said Jack Boisen, Vice President, Cargo Division, Continental Airlines.
Christopher Shawdon, Vice President and Partner, Logistics Solutions, Global Transportation, Unisys added: "Their expertise in areas such as air cargo security will also help shape new CPS developments."
