Air China Releases February's Traffic Figures

Air China said it carried 2.57 mln passengers in February, up 19.4 pct from a year earlier.
In the first two months of the year, the Beijing-based airline carried 4.99 mln passengers, up 14.1 pct from a year earlier.
Air China carried 61,192 tons of cargo in February, up 14.3 pct year-on-year, while the cumulative total for the first two months was 133,850 tons, up 15.3 pct.
Domestically, Air China flew 2.07 mln passengers in February, up 18.4 pct year-on-year.
The carrier said it flew 416,600 passengers internationally, and 82,600 to Hong Kong and Macau, up 24.4 pct and 20.6 pct, respectively.
The passenger load factor for February was 76.3 pct, up four percentage points from a year earlier, while the cargo load factor was 47.0 pct, down 6.6 percentage points.
For the first two months, Air China's passenger load factor was 73.0 pct, up 2.2 percentage points, while cargo load factor was 48.9 pct, down 3.3 percentage points.
