Dragonair has revamped its website (www.dragonair.com) with a new look and additional online services for customers, and now offers online booking for the first time.
The online booking services are available for flights departing from four destinations - Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Xiamen - with more to be added later.
"We are delighted to be offering an online booking service to our customers for the first time," said CEO Kenny Tang. "It makes it easier and more convenient for travellers to plan their trip. We expect it to be a popular tool, with the first booking being taken within one hour of the service going live."
"Passengers can also choose to be reminded about their flight by SMS or email through the notiFLY Flight Paging. The addition of these services to our website take our online presence to a whole new level."
In addition, key tools such as "Check-in" and "Schedules" have been enhanced and are now easily accessible from the homepage, and users are able to directly access their preferred country page. Access to Marco Polo member information, Dragonair's loyalty programme, has also been enhanced.
"The new site creates a foundation for exciting future developments," explained Mr. Tang.
The new website is available in English and Traditional Chinese versions for the Hong Kong site and in Simplified Chinese for the China Mainland site.
