Hong Kong Express Airways Welcomes Its Second B737

On April 22, Hong Kong Express Airways welcomed the arrival of the newest addition to its growing fleet, a Boeing 737-800, at Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok airport. The new aircraft is the second of five B737's that Hong Kong Express is scheduled to take delivery of during 2007, the first having now been in operation since January.
Hong Kong Express Airways' new B737-800 is configured in two classes to accommodate a total of 164 passengers with 8 seated two abreast in Business Class and 156 three abreast in Economy Class.
The new aircraft will enter service end April flying on one of the airline's six scheduled services currently offered within its Asian route network which just last month was enhanced with the addition of flights to Xi'an, the gateway to Western China. Hong Kong Express will continue to expand its route network across Southeast Asia with more destinations added throughout 2007 which will be operated using the further B737s that the airline will take delivery of over the coming months.
