Hawaiian Airlines is contracting with Air New Zealand to maintain Hawaiian's fleet of Boeing 767-300 aircraft in Auckland, a newspaper reported on May 14.
The Dominion Post of Wellington said Air New Zealand has entered into final negotiations with Hawaiian, and an announcement is expected at the end of May.
The contract is expected to run for up to three years, with an option to extend. Financial details were not disclosed.
Air New Zealand would conduct maintenance checks on the aircraft. Hawaiian operates 17 Boeing 767s throughout the Pacific, and has 11 Boeing 717 jets that fly between the Hawaiian Islands.
