Six Injured When Plane Fails to Take-off in Kazakhstan

Six passengers were injured when a Turkish passenger plane failed to take off at the Almaty International Airport two days ago, emergency authorities said on July 9.
The Turkish Airbus A300 airliner, which was to fly from Alamaty to the Turkish city of Attalea on July 7, suffered a sudden engine failure on take-off and its landing gear caught fire, the Kazakh news agency reported.
Six people including two children were injured in the jostling crowd when the 213 panic-stricken passengers on board were being evacuated.
The injured were taken to local hospitals.
