China Eastern Airlines (MU) has officially opened a new VIP lounge at the Terminal 2 of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA).
The 720-square-metre V7 lounge is currently the airline's largest lounge, which can accommodate up to 222 guests.
Located on Level 3 near Gate 63, the lounge is available to China Eastern and Shanghai Airlines (FM) first class customers, "Eastern Miles" gold and silver card members, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members.
The lounge features four different areas - dining, leisure, relaxation and audio-visual.
In the dining area, the regular meals will be served at 6:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., and there will be kinds of Chinese and Western desserts served when it is not meal time. All food will be provided by Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel.
Meanwhile, an exclusive Wi-Fi access is available at the lounge, allowing customers to get fast network connection.
In addition, the new lounge features separate smoking room, multi-functional lavatory, luggage storage, etc.
Particularly, baby seats are installed in man's restroom to provide convenience for the new fathers.
