Second A380 Arrives in Singapore

Second super jumbo A380 delivered by Airbus to Singapore Airlines (SIA) arrived in Singapore on Jan. 12, SIA said.
The world's largest passenger aircraft was handed over to SIA at the Airbus Delivery Center in Toulouse, France, on Jan. 11 and then flew to its new home.
It arrived in Singapore at 9 a.m. local time (01:00GMT) on Jan. 12, a SIA spokesperson told Xinhua.
The second aircraft will complement the first to fly on the existing Sydney route, and providing opportunities for crew training, according to SIA.
SIA, Singapore's flag airline, is the world's first airline to fly the A380, which launched commercial service between Singapore and Sydney in October last year.
SIA has purchased 19 A380s from Airbus and is excepted to get the third aircraft in late February which will fly the London route.
