Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport expects its net profit to rise 85-115% to 496-576 million yuan in 2015 from 268 million yuan in 2014, the airport said Wednesday in its full-year performance forecast.
Basic earnings per share is estimated at 0.26-0.30 yuan, compared with 0.16 yuan a year earlier.
The airport attributes the profit growth to a large increase in its aviation business, slowdown in the growth of its operating costs and less financing expenses.
Shenzhen airport handled nearly 40 million passengers in 2015, making it the 5 busiest Chinese airport after Beijing, Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
