Shandong Airlines Expects 112 Million Yuan Profit Rise in 2016

Shandong Airlines has confirmed that it received a total of 148 million yuan in subsidies last year, which expects to bring its net profit for the year to increase by 112 million yuan.
The subsidies include those from the aviation regulators, airports, as well as for plying certain routes.
Shandong Airlines handled 142,400 aircraft takeoffs and landings in 2016, up 10.55% from a year earlier, with a total of 293,800 hours of safe flying.
The Chinese carrier largely operates domestic services, but also has connections to Japan, Cambodia, Thailand and India. During the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush, Shandong Airlines plans to operate 13,760 flights totally, offering 230,000 seats.
