Air China and Spring Airlines have adjusted their applications for services into Jakarta and Sapporo, respectively.
The flag carrier previously sought permission for launching a Beijing-Xiamen-Jakarta service in March. Now it adjusted it to a nonstop four-times-weekly service between Beijing and Jakarta, using Airbus A330-300s, according to an announcement released on the website of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
Similarly, the Shanghai-based low-cost carrier has amended its Lanzhou-Shanghai Pudong-Osaka route request to Chongqing-Shanghai Pudong-Osaka instead. The carrier is seeking to launch the daily service in March, using A320s, the CAAC said.
The Air Transportation Department of CAAC is soliciting public comments on the application until February 13, 2017.
