Lucky Air will lease three Boeing 737-800s from Tianjin Aviation Financial Services (TAFS) under a sub-lease arrangement with an unconnected lessor.
The B737-800 aircraft will be leased for nine years at a monthly rate of US$340,000, Bohai Capital, the parent company of TAFS said Monday in a Shenzhen Stock Exchange announcement. The amount is however subject to adjustments based on interest rates.
The Kunming-based carrier is also due to take delivery of two Airbus A330-300s in May and October from its major shareholder, Hainan Airlines.
Lucky Air operates a fleet of 16 B737-800s, 12 B737-700s, eight Airbus A320-200s and three A319-100s.
