Beibu Gulf Airlines Becomes an IATA Member

At the morning on April 4, 2017, Beibu Gulf Airlines IATA Membership Certification Ceremony was held successfully. Beibu Gulf Airlines was officially awarded a membership certificate and became an IATA member. IATA's vice president for North Asia - Zhang Baojian, Director of Membership and External Relations - Zhang Jingwei, Chairman and President of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines - Wu Chongyang, and Marketing Director - Chen Jike attended the ceremony. The joining in IATA would support Beibu Gulf Airlines to participate in the international market's cooperation.
At the ceremony, Zhang Baojian welcomes Beibu Gulf Airlines' joining. Wu Chongyang said that, with the platform of IATA, Beibu Gulf Airlines would learn the international civil aviation business cooperation rules, extend cooperation and communication with foreign airlines, and join the IATA meetings, have a close look on new civil aviation concepts and ideas around the world, give full play to its advantage and deepen its internationalization's progress.
Since its establishment in 2015, Beibu Gulf Airlines has built a young luxurious fleet comprising 18 aircrafts, which are composed of A320 and E190. This fleet has a total of 54 thousand safe flying hours, and its accumulated passengers transported totaled about 2.5 million. Currently, Beibu Gulf has launched more than 60 routes, and has more than 50 destinations.
