There Would Be 20 Airports in Zhejiang Province by 2020

Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission and Guangdong Provincial Transport Bureau has released Development Plan for Zhejiang's Civil Airports during the 13th Five-Year Period recently, aiming to establish a comprehensive and complete civil airport system.
According to the plan, there would be one or more than one transport airports or type I civil airports in each prefectural level city, and air service would cover 99% of the province's population.
Based on the initial plan, by the end of the 13th Five-Year Period, the passenger traffic of new civil airports would reach 24 million and terminals of new airports would cover 0.31 million square meters. By the end of 2020, the passenger traffic of airports within the province would reach 70 million, terminals would cover 0.8 million square meters and there would be more than 20 type I and type II civil airports.
