Airbus hosted the International Aviation Women Association (IAWA) reception. Women from across the global aerospace industry gathered to share their experiences at the Airbus pavilion. Paul Eremenko, Airbus Chief Technical Officer and Lisa Piccione, IAWA President, welcomed Claudie Haigneré, Senior Advisor to European Space Agency General Director, first European astronaut on International Space Station and former French Minister. IAWA aims to promote the development of women in aviation via a worldwide network of professional aviation contacts. Airbus which strongly supports and promotes diversity sponsors IAWA.
