Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) Showed C919 airliner on the 52nd Paris International Air and Space Exhibition and announced that its second C919 was possibly going to have flight test at the end of this year.
Press center of COMAC released that the company displayed C919 airliner and ARJ21 regional jet on the exhibition, representing the Chinese manufacturer forming a multi-marketing pattern of regional jets, single-aisle and twin-aisle trunk liners.
COMAC signed a Framework Purchase Agreement of 30 C919 aircraft with EverBright Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. in Beijing on June 13th, 2017. Thus, COMAC had 24 customers of C919 aircraft and secured a total of 600 orders. It is China's first independently-developed single-aisle truck liner that completely matches international advanced airworthiness criteria and mainstream market standards. European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accepted the application for type certificate for C919 in April 2016.
As for ARJ21 series, it is about to welcome the first anniversary of ARJ21-700, China's first short-medium turbofan regional aircraft with proprietary intellectual property rights, since its delivery to Chengdu Airlines. The regional jet acquired type certificate from CAAC on December 30, 2014 and was put into service in Shanghai - Changsha - Chengdu route on June 28, 2016. So far, the aircraft has carried more than 10,000 passengers. Dealing with 19 customers, the company has received 413 orders for ARJ21 in total and will deliver over 5 aircraft this year.
