The latest standard for Civil Transport Airport Security Facility (MH/T 7003-2017), New edition of 7003 for short, was publicized on June 6, 2017 and will be implemented on October 1, this year. The 15th chapter of the new edition explains the standards for video surveillance, making up for the loss due to the abolishment of Technical Specifications of Security Monitoring System for Civil Transport Airports.
The new edition covers every video surveillance system in the airport including landside, airside and terminals, mainly in six respects:
1 More Explicit Requirements for Monitor Scope and Definition
2 Reserving Time to Be More Than 90 Days to Meet the Requirements of Anti-Terrorism Law
3 To Use High Definition Camera for New and Expanded Systems to Match the Present Technology Development
4 Interconnection for All the Surveillance Systems in Airport
5 To Equip Vector Electronic Maps to Adjust to large-Area Camera Search and Locate in First and Second Airports
6 To Adopt Special Network with Independent Data Structure to Guarantee the Picture Transmission Quality
All in all, this new edition fixed the blank in the establishment of airport video surveillance system standards, laying the hardware foundation for the deep application of video image from now on.
