Air France KLM Recently announced that Mr. Toon Balm will take the position as the General Manager of Air France KLM, Greater China as of January 2018.

Mr. Toon Balm, 46 years old, graduated from HES Amsterdam and is proficient in Dutch, English and German, skilled at Italian and French. He used to serve as a "Commando" in The Royal Netherlands Army, Special Forces Division.

He has been in many management positions for different regions across the globe since he joined KLM in 1998.

Since 2008, Mr. Toon Balm was transferred to Italy, successively taking positions as Marketing Manager KLM Italy, Commercial Director, Air France/KLM Italy, heading the joint AFKL Commercial Department, which consist of Pricing, Marketing, E-commerce, CRM and a newly developed Business Intelligence department.

He held the position as the Vice President Sales Air France KLM Benelux since 2015, managing Corporate, SME, Leisure, Direct Sales teams. Under his leadership, EUR 1.6 billion revenue was achieved.
