All Civil Aviation Units Welcome This Year's "Chunyun" Tide Since Today

This year's "Chunyun", annual transport rush around Chinese Spring Festival started on February 1, and every civil aviation company has prepared to escort large amount of travelers safely to home in the next one and a half months.
This time, "Chunyun" will continue 40 days till 12 March and there will be 65 million passengers, increasing 10% compared with last year. In a bit to meet the needs of market, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) approved nearly 30 thousand extra charter flights based on 14 thousand regular flight every day, including more than 26 thousand domestic flights and 2716 international ones, offering over 2.1 million seats per day.
For instance, Air China plans to input 405 flights at a growth rate of 6.9% year on year during "Chunyun". Over 50 thousand flights with 2682 extra flights provide over 10 million seats. China Southern Airlines predicts to operate nearly 1800 flights on the first day of "Chunyun" and serve 270 thousand passengers. During all the period, the Guangzhou based airlines will have nearly 75 thousand flights in total, including about 6 thousand extra flights.
As for the hot scenario in airports, take Beijing Capital Airports as an example, the whole turnover will reach 1.7 thousand flights on the first day, 3% more than last year. During all the season, the total throughput will reach 10.96 million people, 274 thousand every day on average; 68.2 thousand departures and arrivals in total, 1704 flights per day on average.
