Two Injured as Aircraft Crashes in Central Philippines

Two pilots were injured when a Cessna 206 aircraft crashed in the Philippines' central Bohol province on May 20, local media reported.
The seven-seat single engine plane crashed in a rice field in Talibon town, Bohol at 11:45 a.m. local time (03:45GMT) on May 20.
The pilots were identified as Capt. Luzvimindo Amoy and Capt. Alain Bandala, who were immediately rushed to a local hospital after the accident took place, Philippine TV network ABS-CBN reported.
The pilots said they were on their way to Eastern Samar, a coastal province in the eastern Philippine, to pick up a passenger.
However, they said that upon reaching 3,500 feet the plane's engine suddenly broke down.
The pilots are now being treated for head injuries.
