Low fare airline Tiger Airways has signed a memorandum of understanding for the purchase of an additional 50 Airbus A320 aircraft. The order represents 30 firm deliveries and 20 options.

British Airways has been advised by the credit rating agency, Standard and Poor's that its corporate credit rating is to be increased to investment grade.
- TOTAL Linhas Aereas Orders 10 New ATR Aircraft[Jun. 18, 2007]
On June 18, ATR unveiled at the Paris Air Show an order from Brazil-based TOTAL Linhas Aereas for 5 new ATR aircraft (3 ATR 42-500s + 2 ATR 72-500s) plus options for 5 additional aircraft (3 ATR 42-500s + 2 ATR 72-500s). The contract is valuated at over US$160 million, options included.
- Berjaya Air Orders 4 New ATR 72-500s[Jun. 18, 2007]
Malaysian-based Berjaya Air (an indirect subsidiary of Berjaya Corporation) signed a US$74 million agreement with ATR for 4 new ATR 72-500 aircraft. The deal was announced at the Paris Air Show by Tan Sri Dato' Seri Vincent Tan, Berjaya Corporation Chairman and CEO and Stephane Mayer, who on June 1 succeeded Filippo Bagnato as ATR CEO.
- Boeing Names Hinshaw Chief Information Officer[Jun. 18, 2007]
Boeing has named John Hinshaw chief information officer and vice president of the company's Information Technology organization. Hinshaw, who was formerly chief information officer of Verizon Wireless, is replacing Scott Griffin, who has announced his retirement after 28 years at Boeing.
- Boeing, Lion Air Announce Order for 40 737-900ERs[Jun. 18, 2007]
On June 18, the Boeing Company and Jakarta-based Lion Air announced that the airline has ordered an additional 40 737-900ER (Extended Range) airplanes. Valued at more than US$3 billion at list prices, this announcement brings Lion Air's combined orders for the 737-900ER to 100.
- Air India Considering Jat Investment[Jun. 11, 2007]
Air India is in a "wait-and-see" position regarding its interest in taking a stake in Serbian flag carrier Jat Airways, which also has caught the eye of Aeroflot. "We were talking with the [Serbian] government, but we haven't taken any clear decision" on whether to invest in Jat, AI Chairman and MD V. Thulasidas said. Belgrade does not appear to be targeted as a European hub for the carrier.
- Coventry Airport Disappointed at Its New Passenger Terminal Application's Negative Outcome[Jun. 15, 2007]
On June 15, Coventry Airport voiced its utmost disappointment to the news of a negative outcome on the long awaited second Public Local Inquiry into its proposed development plans. The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government and Secretary of State for Transport ('the Secretaries of State') advised the West Midlands airport of its decision to refuse its application to build a new passenger terminal.
