On April 26, the Boeing Company and Oak Hill Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm, announced an order for six Boeing 777 Freighters. The order is valued at about US$1.4 billion at list prices.

On April 26, Boeing confirmed that Russia's S7 Group has ordered 10 Next-Generation 737-800s and secured purchase rights for an additional 10 of the world's most popular jetliner. The aircraft have been carried as "unidentified" on the Boeing order Web site since last November. At list prices, the order is valued at US$705 million.

Swiss International Air Lines (Group) generated earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of CHF122 million in the first quarter of 2007. The result compares to an EBIT of CHF23 million for the same period a year ago. Consolidated net profit for the first quarter of 2007 amounted to CHF118 million (compared to CHF4 million for the prior-year period).

European low-cost carrier easyJet took delivery of their 100th Airbus A319 aircraft on April 26, 2007, following a handover ceremony in Hamburg between Andrew Harrison, easyJet Chief Executive and Louis Gallois, Airbus President and CEO.

United States based lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has placed a firm order for 20 Airbus A320 Family aircraft. The order is for four A319s, 14 A320s and two A321s.
- Boeing, SpiceJet Announce Order for 10 Next-Generation 737s[Apr. 26, 2007]
On April 26, the Boeing Company and New Delhi-based SpiceJet announced that the airline has ordered 10 Next-Generation 737-800s. The order, valued at more than US$700 million at list prices, follows previous orders in February 2005 and August 2006 for a total of 30 737s.
