- Boeing Everett Receives ISO 14001 Certification[Dec. 12, 2006]
On December 12, the Boeing Company announced that its airplane manufacturing facility in Everett, Wash., home of the 747, 767, 777 and 787, has received International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 certification. ISO 14001 confirms Boeing's Everett facility has a certified system in place to monitor, manage and continuously improve its environmental management system.

Cebu Pacific (CEB) will add a second daily frequency to its Manila-Dumaguete service beginning February 14, 2007.
- Cebu Pacific Increases Frequency to Hong Kong and Singapore[Dec. 06, 2006]
Cebu Pacific (CEB) will increase its Cebu-Hong Kong frequency from 4 to 5 times weekly and Cebu-Singapore frequency from 4 to 6 times weekly starting January 25, 2007. CEB started the Cebu-Hong Kong service on October 2 and the Cebu-Singapore service on October 23.

Singapore Airlines has appointed DFASS Singapore Pte Ltd (DFASS) as concessionaire, to take over KrisShop, the airline's inflight duty-free sales. The transition will be completed by the first quarter of 2007.
- Melbourne Airport Welcomes Government's New Carry-on Baggage Rule[Dec. 08, 2006]
Melbourne Airport welcomed new aviation security measures announced on December 8 by Australian Government. New regulations, effective from 31 March 2007, will restrict the amount of liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs) that passengers can carry on international flights to and from Australia.
