Airbus is setting up a greenfield training facility at Aerocity, New Delhi, to support India's growing need for Airbus aircraft pilots and maintenance engineers. The ground-breaking for the Airbus India Training Centre was performed by P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Hon'ble Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Tom Enders, CEO, Airbus in the presence of Jayant Sinha, Hon'ble Minister of State for Civil Aviation.

Today, the world's leading turboprop manufacturer ATR officially inaugurated its new Training Center in Miami, Florida, US. This new facility is equipped with a brand new Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for ATR -600 series aircraft, provided by CAE. The new ATR Training Center, located at the Airbus training premises, is especially oriented to current and future ATR operators on the American continent.

Now Austria's flag carrier is launching training for its own pilots in cooperation with the European Flight Academy of the Lufthansa Group. 23 future pilots have been selected to begin their theoretical instruction on February 2, 2017 in Bremen, Germany. The first training flight is expected to take place in Goodyear, Arizona (U.S.) in August 2017.
