- APOC Aviation Expands Portfolio with V2527-A5 Engine and Sets up New Lease Agreement with Onur Air[Dec. 03, 2019]
Innovative engine leasing & trading and aircraft component & part-out specialist, APOC Aviation, has purchased a V2527-A5 engine from AerSale. The engine is now leased out to Turkish low-cost carrier, Onur Air, for the duration of its remaining green-time. This is anticipated to be 36 months and it will be installed on various A320 family aircraft within the Onur Air fleet. This is the first engine deal that APOC has completed with AerSale and it was counter-balanced with AerSale's own purchase of a significant package of spare parts from APOC.
- Scandinavia's SAS Takes Delivery of Its First Airbus A350 XWB[Nov. 28, 2019]
Scandinavian carrier SAS has taken delivery of its first A350-900, becoming the newest operator of this latest generation, highly efficient widebody aircraft. The airline has a total of eight A350-900 aircraft on order and operates an Airbus fleet of 68 aircraft (51 A320 Family, 17 A330 and A340 Family aircraft). In the coming years, as part of an extensive fleet modernisation, SAS will take delivery of 54 additional A320neo Family aircraft and the remaining seven A350-900s through direct purchase and lease contracts.

Airbus has celebrated the 100th A220 aircraft produced for a customer during a ceremony at the aircraft programme's headquarters in Mirabel, Canada. The aircraft, an A220-300, destined for Riga, Latvia-based airBaltic, features a brand new and comfortable cabin layout with 149 seats plus a modernised livery.

Emirates, the world's largest international airline, announced that it has signed a full purchase agreement for 30 Boeing 787-9 aircraft, worth US$ 8.8 billion at list prices, at the Dubai Airshow 2019. Under its agreement with Boeing, Emirates has exercised its right to substitute the B777x with B787s.
