Air China and Air New Zealand now offer code-share service connecting China, Australia, and New Zealand, with effect from July 1. With this new code-share to the "Down Under", the highly regarded Air New Zealand has become the twentieth airline to partner with Air China in cooperative code-share service.

China air carriers China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines will each be allowed to operate a shuttle flight per day between Tokyo's Haneda airport and Shanghai's Hongqiao airport in October, sources familiar with the matter said on July 12.

China Southern Airlines, the country's biggest airline, opened direct flights from Guangzhou, capital of southern Guangdong Province, to Siem Reap in Cambodia on July 12.
- New Ferry Service Starts Between HKIA and Zhuhai Jiuzhou[Jul. 10, 2007]
To further enhance connectivity between Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and the Pearl River Delta (PRD), a new ferry service between the airport and Zhuhai was launched on July 10. Sailing between HKIA's SkyPier and the port of Jiuzhou, the new service increases the number of PRD destinations served by SkyPier to six.
- CEB Flies to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Macau[Jun. 27, 2007]
Cebu Pacific (CEB) will start direct flights from Manila to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Macau this September and October with seat sale fares that are 85% lower than those currently available for these routes.

China Eastern Airlines expanded its service hotline on July 1. The "95808" hotline is now open for four Chinese cities - Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and Kunming, allowing its customers in the areas to enjoy localized services.

The first Beijing-St Petersburg flight operated by Hainan Airlines kicked off on July 8.

June 13 marks a historical milestone for AirAsia, the leading and largest low fare airline in Asia as it makes a joint announcement on flying to Shenzhen from two of its hubs; Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Bangkok (Thailand). The airline is set to commence both of its inaugural daily flights on July 15, 2007.
