Offering a useful tool for smaller companies, Malev Hungarian Airlines has worked on its online B2B booking service. (5/11/2006)
This service enable's smaller businesses and executives to book tickets directly with the airline using a unique login name and password.
Doros Theodorou, UK Country Manager said: It is crucial that Malev targets its growing business market and our new B2B online service will be a useful tool for smaller companies who want to operate directly and ensure they are getting a good deal.
According to the airline, the online B2B booking system offers discounts on published fares, specified routes and booking dates as a percentage or fixed amount, benefiting small to medium-sized businesses.
Payment has to be made by credit card and since most of Malev's destinations are e-ticketable no tickets are needed apart from an email confirmation, which the passengers receive at their designated email address. Nevertheless for passengers choosing a paper ticket or for non- e-ticketable routes, tickets can be picked up from the departure airport or requested by post.
