Huai'an Selects the Address of Airport

After Suzhong Airport enters into the phase of selecting its address, Jiangsu's another civil aviation airport-Huai'an Airport construction project has also floated above the water surface. The reporter of Oriental Morning Post learns from 2006 Nanjing's Major Projects Investment Consultation Conference held on the 28th May, the civil aviation airport situated in Huai'an, north area of Jiangsu, has entered the phase of selecting its address, and is waiting for the approval of General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.
2006 Nanjing's Major Projects Investment Consultation Conference was jointly held by the city of Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Huai'an, Suqian, Chuzhou, Wuhu, Maanshan, Huainan, Xuancheng and Chaohu together, each city puts forward projects to attract the merchants according to its demand of economic development and industry structure adjustment. On projects printed by Huai'an City Government to attract the merchants, the reporter of Oriental Morning Post saw that, this time Huai'an city put forward twenty-eight key projects, among them, Huai'an Airport was on the list obviously.
It's introduced that, the programming newly-built Huai'an Airport project, forecasts that the investment is 0.45 billion yuan, the construction cycle is 4 years, the construction scale is 4C class branch-line civil aviation airport, the construction content includes runway, terminal, parking lot, cargo warehouse and so on.
