ARJ21 aircraft, which is the self-mastering knowledge property rights's new regional aircraft owned by China completely, through the transfer period review of Commission of Science Technology and Industry for National Defense, (has) formally transferred from specific design period to comprehensive trial period on 31st May. The study personnel said, this new turban branch-line aircraft was similar to 150 seats mainline aircrafts in flight character and comfort aspect.

The ARJ21 studying by AVIC I, is the medium, short aviation distance branch-line aircraft whose turban engine is the power, and whose aviation distance is within 2,000 nautical miles, its character can be described simply as "four properties and one serie", that is, adaptability, comfort, economy, mutuality and ease integration between different series. This aircraft controlled strictly towards the whole lifespan cost from the beginning of design, lowed the maintenance cost to the maximum extent, improved the usage economy property of aircrafts.
