SkyTeam Airlines Receive EU Objections

Air France KLM and other members of the SkyTeam group of airlines have received a statement of objections from the European Union's competition authority, the Franco-Dutch airline said on Monday.
The members of SkyTeam, excluding Aeroflot, expect to reply to the European Commission's objections in the autumn after careful examination, Air France KLM said in a statement.
The Commission's competition authority has been reviewing the SkyTeam alliance since its launch in 2000.
The scope of its inquiry, which originally focussed on Aeromexico, Air France, Alitalia, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air, was extended when Continental, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Northwest Airlines joined the alliance in September 2004.
