Qantas to Offer Seasonal Services to Korea
Sep. 01, 2006
Qantas today announced it would operate a series of seasonal services between Australia and Korea from 2 January to 28 January 2007.
Qantas Group General Manager Sales and Distribution, Rob Gurney, said the services were being introduced to meet demand during the traditional New Year peak period from Korea.
"These services will assist in stimulating traffic between the two countries," he said.
The 12 return services between Sydney and Seoul will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday each week, using two-class Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
They are timed to suit customers connecting to and from other Australian cities.
Mr Gurney said Qantas would continue its codeshare arrangement on Asiana Airlines' dailyservices from Sydney to Seoul.
