Dragonair took delivery of its 28th passenger aircraft - and its 13th wide-bodied A330 - at Airbus Industrie's headquarters in Toulouse, France, on October 25.
"The delivery of the new aircraft allows us to continue to grow and to meet the growing market demand," said Dragonair CEO Kenny Tang. "The new aircraft features our new Business Class cabin as well as personal TVs in every seat, demonstrating our commitment to enhance the travel experience for passengers."
The aircraft, which is leased from International Lease Finance Corporation, is powered by two Rolls-Royce RR Trent 772B engines and has a two-class cabin configuration, with seating for 42 passengers in Business and 273 in Economy Class. It is capable of carrying 15 tonnes of freight with a full passenger load.
The aircraft is scheduled to enter service next week, operating on services to Taiwan.
