ANA CARD CHINA Launched

On October 18, ANA became the first non-Chinese airline to issue a credit card in China. Thanks to a tie up with China Merchant Bank and Prestige International, ANA CARD CHINA, a VISA Gold card, gives ANA Mileage Club (AMC) members resident in China the opportunity to make and settle payments using local currency and accrue mileage for every purchase they make, amongst other benefits.
ANA CARD CHINA is the third ANA CARD to be issued outside Japan, following ANA CARD USA and ANA CARD HONG KONG.
Customers who successfully apply for ANA CARD CHINA before March 31, 2007 will receive 5,000 bonus miles (main cardholder only). Main cardholders will also receive a further 5,000 miles for the first ANA flight taken between China and Japan between the opening date for ANA CARD CHINA applications and March 31, 2007.
ANA CARD CHINA comes with the following benefits:
1) AMC mileage accrued at the rate of 1 mile for every RMB20 (or 1 mile for every USD2 for purchases not made in RMB)
2) 24 hour toll free Chinese language emergency medical helpline, giving information on hospitals in Japan
3) Valid at banks and stores accepting VISA cards worldwide
4) Accident and life insurance while travelling by plane; travel insurance
5) Up to RMB15,000 per year indemnity for loss of personal property
6) Discounts at more than 5,000 China Merchant Bank affiliated shops in China
7) Annual membership cost: Main member RMB650, family member RMB350
