HKE Launches Hong Kong-Chengdu Service

On November 16, with the departure at 16.10 of one of its fleet of Embraer 170 aircraft from Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok airport, Hong Kong Express Airways inaugurated services on its newest route between Hong Kong and Chengdu.

Plus it is always a privilege to take an active role in promoting cultural and economic exchange with mainland China whilst boosting tourism between Hong Kong and interesting destinations." Hong Kong Express Airways Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Tse.
Chengdu - one of the most populous cities in China is a well-developed commercial and industrial centre with an excellent transportation network. Besides being the home of China's giant pandas, Chengdu is a famed leisure spot and is also the primary inland access point to Tibet.
