Emirates to Offer Onboard iPod
Dec. 18, 2006
Emirates has teamed up with Apple to offer iPod integration with its in-flight entertainment systems. The other airlines planning to offer iPod integration are Air France, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, KLM and United Airlines.
Starting mid-2007, the Dubai-based airline's passengers will be able to use iPods for music and videos, including full-length feature films viewed on their seat-back screens.
Emirates service will provide a constant power source to keep passengers' iPods charged for the duration of their flights.
