Jan. 19, 2007
A passenger plane was forced to land in Dalian, northeastern China's Liaoning Province, disrupting its trip to Harbin from Shanghai on January 18 because its windshield was broken.
Dalian Air Traffic Management Center launched emergency measures to make way for the plane after receiving a call from the regional management center at 1:38pm on January 18.
The call said the plane's windshield cracked during the trip from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Harbin, capital city of Heilongjiang Province.
The cause of the broken windshield is under investigation.
